49 Times Left, Master! (Completed Main Story) - Chapter 243
Could there be a day more mortifying for Lin Hwa than today? My sister periodically turns my world upside down, but today was undoubtedly the worst.
“Use your head, Yo Lin Hwa. Do you really think His Majesty wouldn’t notice if the Crown Prince sent a fake tool through deceit? His Majesty has seen that device before—back when he was still a prince, the late Emperor used it once or twice!”
“How would you even know that? Are you lying on purpose right now?”
“Because I was a court official! And even if His Majesty hadn’t seen it himself—do you think the Yunwol side wouldn’t notice a fake tool being passed around? The current Crown Prince of Yunwol wasn’t the original heir, after all. Since the crown prince changed midway, he must have many enemies. If he were caught giving us a fake tool, it could blow up into a diplomatic incident and put him in an awkward position—do you really think he’d agree to such a request?”
Lin Hwa snatched up a pillow and threw it, then covered her face with both hands. A cry of anguish, heart-wrenching just to hear, escaped through her fingers.
Lin Hwa’s private palace maids closed the doors and windows, sniffling as they kept glancing over.
I slumped onto an empty chair and clutched my head with both hands. Which was better—the situation before my return or after?
I was no longer at odds with my disciple, yet now my perfectly well-behaved younger sister had turned into a terrible burden.

When Yo Hwa left without promising help, Lin Hwa’s fear only grew deeper.
Lin Hwa couldn’t sleep and kept pacing restlessly within her quarters.
“My Lady, His Highness seems to miss his mother.”
The wet nurse brought the baby, but Lin Hwa couldn’t even bear to look at the child’s face—she was terrified she might see the face of the one she loved.
The next day, Lin Hwa finally summoned her parents. Her mother was visiting her natal home, so only her father came.
Lord Yo, about to leave the palace, entered his daughter’s room cheerfully but froze upon seeing Lin Hwa’s pale face.

An Indifferent Woman is the One Men Desire the Most
One-line summary: The female lead is actually cold-hearted and extremely rational. She has stage-by-stage relationships and won’t two-time, but there will always be someone who secretly likes her.
This novel has the following triggers, so if you’re sensitive to these, please don’t read:
1. The female lead has had many relationships, but she treated each one seriously and broke up properly.
It’s just that the men unilaterally pestered her incessantly. For the female lead, when she doesn’t like someone anymore, she simply doesn’t like them.
(This applies to her relationships with Male Lead 1, 2, 3, and 4 as well, but she’s loyal in each 1-on-1 relationship!)
2. In this novel, Male Lead 2 and the female lead kiss in a car, and Male Lead 1 sees it and beats up Male Lead 2.
The female lead calls the police and sends both Male Lead 1 and 2 to the police station! Male Lead 1 begs the female lead not to break up with him.
3. Male Lead 1 has a gentle appearance but an obsessive personality.
Male Lead 2 has a delicate and soft appearance, slightly green tea-like (two-faced).
Male Lead 3 is a youthful college student and a smart person who has secretly liked the female lead for a long time.
Male Lead 4 is the female lead’s father’s special assistant, a business elite with deep, hidden thoughts.
4. At the beginning of this novel, the female lead has already broken up with Male Lead 1 (Chapter 4) and gotten back together with Male Lead 2 (ex-boyfriend).
5. Enter with caution if you have triggers!!!

That’s a blessing ML is smart and the situation is probably will be resolved quickly, otherwise I would’ve rage flip because of that never ending misunderstandings.
I hoped that after main story ending they finally will stop that habit of lying in every little thing, it’s a pity I expected too much 🫠
I can understand ML’s jealousy, but really, why not to let his wifey pay her karmic debt and then live happily ever after?
