Seo Yeon headed to the 11th floor—where the VIP rooms were located—upon hearing the news that Grandfather had regained mobility. The hallway outside his room was already crowded with people who had come hoping to catch a glimpse of the head of Han Kyung Group.

“I’d like to briefly see the Chairman, if possible. Could you please check for me?”

At the middle-aged man’s request, the security guard stationed outside the room frowned.

“No. The Chairman has already issued an official notice stating he does not wish to receive visitors.”

“Ahem. I simply wanted to see for myself whether the Chairman has truly recovered. In that case, just tell him that Director Hong from HanKyoung Industry stopped by.”

Unlike in her previous life—when the tumor had spread too widely a year later, rendering surgery nearly impossible—this life had allowed early detection, enabling them to quickly remove the tumor through the nasal cavity without needing to open the skull.

Perhaps thanks to that, Seok Hyeon greeted Seo Yeon in visibly better condition than before.

“Since you’re here, don’t just stand there—come closer.”

Displeased with Seo Yeon simply standing there, Seok Hyeon gestured with his hand. She walked over to the chair he pointed to and carefully sat down.
