While the commercial played, Seon Ah knelt down and clasped her hands together.

“Now all we can do is pray.”

Seon Ah had already secured the chance to personally watch the music video shoot taking place later at Eun Seo’s house. The assignment was described as a team battle between trainees who had passed the second round of voting. Of course, it was uncertain whether Chris’s team would come to Eun Seo’s house or not—but still, she had to pass the second round first for any possibility to even exist.

“I’ll pray with you too.”

When Eun Seo followed Seon Ah’s lead and knelt with hands clasped, Seung Joo did the same.

“You don’t have to, Seung Joo.”

“But Nuna Seon Ah is cheering on so passionately—I want to pray too.”

Seon Ah’s eyes welled up with touched tears.

“How is it that our Seung Joo has a heart as handsome as his face? Now I feel guilty for having unfollowed him!”

Just then, the commercial ended, and finally, it was announcement time.

– Alright, it’s finally time to announce the results! Before we reveal the final rankings—the combined totals from the live pre-vote and the votes cast by our National Managers over the past two hours—we have one quick question!

Out of the blue, the host singled out Chris by name.

– Trainee #54, Chris—what rank do you think you’ll get?

The camera immediately panned to the row of seated trainees. Chris, wearing the number “54” pinned to his chest, sat in the very last row. The numbers pinned to each trainee reflected their previous voting rank, and their seating arrangement was strictly ordered from 1st place downward.
