When Hye Sun arrived at the Yeonsa-dong house in the evening, the front gate was tightly locked. The wall had been raised compared to the old days, making it impossible to tell what the inside looked like.

Fortunately, some leftover bricks from the wall construction lay nearby. Hye Sun picked them up, stacked them beneath the wall, climbed on top, and peered into the courtyard—then let out a sigh of relief shortly after.
