Melie nodded as she admired Marchioness Andert’s unpublished sketches in her studio.
All her paintings were landscapes, still lifes, or portraits set against peaceful pastoral scenes.

Just then, a knock sounded at the door.

The butler of the Marquis’s household entered and whispered something into her ear. As Jeena listened with a nod, her gaze briefly shifted toward Melie.
‘What is it?’
While Melie wondered with a puzzled expression, the butler stepped away from Jeena.
