“That’s right—since it’s his own wedding, obviously Si Yoon will come here himself to announce the news.”

Inside the club, everyone seemed to be anxiously waiting for Si Yoon’s arrival.

Most of the people who’d gathered since early morning belonged to the type who had nothing better to do and just spent their parents’ money carelessly.

Whenever they met, a few among them would spread all sorts of scandalous gossip—like how a succession feud had broken out within some family but was hushed up with money, how someone’s household had produced a drug addict, or how another family was enduring infidelity with clenched teeth.

Though these stories resembled the sort found in stock market tabloids, unlike those often baseless rumors, the gossip circulating in Club Five was generally accurate despite its scandalous nature.

Amid this atmosphere, Si Yoon’s upcoming wedding was now the topic of discussion.

“I heard Kim Si Yoon already registered his marriage in the U.S. and has been living quietly with his partner, but now they’re coming to Seoul to hold a grand, flashy wedding ceremony.”

Even before the man himself arrived to share his news, a few people jealous of Si Yoon were already chattering excitedly about him.

Among them was Yoo Shi Yeon, a reporter from KBN. Though not part of the top 5%, she’d been invited a few times due to her friendship with So Min of H.O Group.

She’d secured her spot in this gathering as their go-to source for the hottest entertainment news, aiming to become a core member.

Having attended the same English kindergarten as children had turned So Min and Reporter Yoo into inseparable best friends.

Yet, their bond wasn’t the kind built on deep emotional support or mutual understanding. Growing up pampered and indulged, even as children they’d found it hard to form genuine friendships.

However, due to ingrained teachings that one should have at least one good friend while growing up, they both concluded they needed someone to present publicly as their “best friend.” And conveniently, they fit that role perfectly for each other.

Thus, out of necessity, they became friends. Regardless of how it started, they did share certain compatibilities.

They clicked perfectly whenever targeting someone for gossip or scheming to ruin someone they disliked.
