Si Yoon’s expression hardened slightly, even to the point of looking intimidating.

“Why, are you mad?”

“No, since you touched me, I figured I’d touch Choi Mi Joo once too.”

Before she could say it wasn’t allowed, Si Yoon’s hand reached Mi Joo’s cheek.

Just like Mi Joo had done earlier, he stroked her cheek with his thumb and index finger—but unlike her, his touch was gentle and alluring.

A pleasant shiver mixed with tension ran down Mi Joo’s spine.

“Don’t be nervous. Just my hands, like you did…”

Mi Joo, who’d briefly worried about what she’d do if he even kissed her, suddenly felt both relief and disappointment.

But his hands were just as dangerous as his lips. Si Yoon’s fingers drifted from Mi Joo’s cheeks down her slender neck, lingering over the neat ridge of her collarbone. His gaze followed his touch just as intently, unblinking.

Mi Joo gently placed her hand over Si Yoon’s, the one caressing her.

It was meant as a last-ditch effort to stop his unpredictable hands—but as soon as she laid her hand there, it felt more like an invitation, so she quietly withdrew it again.

By now, Si Yoon had already moved his fingers to the buttons of Mi Joo’s shirt.

He placed a single fingertip on one small, round button and slowly circled it.

Why did something so trivial make her breath catch in her throat like this?

It wasn’t even touching her skin—just a tiny, round button on her clothing.
