The best way would be to stop Seol Yu-hwa’s younger sister, Seol Yu-bin, from attempting suicide.
But there was a problem with that.

Yu-bin tried every trick in the book to win Seung-hyun’s attention, but he never even glanced her way.
Jealousy and resentment grew day by day until they finally exploded past the breaking point.
The result was the whole suicide incident.
In short, it was pure attention-seeking!
‘At first, she just wanted Seung-hyun’s attention, but later, she actually tried to harm her sister.’
In the original story, Yu-bin suddenly appears at the end and reveals herself as the mastermind.
Yu-hwa is devastated by this revelation, argues with her sister, and delivers several iconic lines befitting a heroine.
Then, out of nowhere, a truck barrels toward them—Yu-hwa pushes Yu-bin out of the way and ends up in a coma, while the terminally ill secondary male lead donates his cornea to her before passing away… but I’ll get back to that later.
‘Hmm, so maybe I should just hook Yu-bin up with Ji Seung-hyun?’
If they became a couple, this whole mess would never happen in the first place.
But how would I even make that happen?
‘I’ll need to think this over carefully.’
For now, I’d skip it.
What about the second option?
Redeeming the villain—specifically, rehabilitating Yu-bin, the mastermind.
Ultimately, this tied back to the first option.
If Yu-bin’s inferiority complex disappeared, she’d never orchestrate such a massive catastrophe.
By redeeming the mastermind, I could eliminate the root cause even before the original story began.
