While having these various thoughts, the class start time arrived. The first period was math. I pretended to listen to the class, took out my diary sneakily, and opened it.

‘Well, it’s been a while.’

Since Seol Yuhwa appeared, unexpected events have unfolded, and I’ve only had time to list thoughts about the plan, not seriously organize them. I did diligently write observations in the diary, though.

‘When was the last time I wrote this?’

Looking at the diary, the most recent entry seemed to be when I tried to find out about Hae Sung High School. Yes, at that time, I bragged about finding Ryu Taekon and met Mr. Kim Deokpal.

So many things attracted me, but anyway, thanks to that, I could get important information. I wrote one name in the diary.

Jinhaeyul

Lord of the Sadae. ^_^ That guy.

‘Where the heck is he now?’
Since they said he’s injured… Surely, he won’t be in a hospital in a coma or something, right? Maybe he’ll wake up around the climax later.

It seemed like such a cliché, but this was an insignificant world. During this period, clichés like comas and memory loss were popular.

Moreover, sub-characters who donate their organs to the terminally ill protagonist and leave the world were also popular… Ah, I shouldn’t be thinking about this now. Let’s get back to the original.

Anyway, considering the ‘characters’ in the system, it’s almost a certainty that Jin Haeyul will appear in front of me, but I have no idea when that will be. He didn’t appear at all in the original.

‘Could he really be the villain as I suspect?’

Whether the bad relationship between our school and Hae Sung High School is because of Jin Haeyul or not… Maybe that’s going too far.

‘There’s too little evidence to make guesses.’

I’ll have to wait for more information about Jin Haeyul to be revealed by the system. So, I’ll put that on hold for now.

Next, let’s think about…

Seol Yubin.

Yesterday, I promised Seol Yuwha that I would help find Seol Yubin.

‘What was said about Seol Yubin in the original?’

I don’t remember well, but I think it was something about staying in a seaside village.

Anyway, since I know the original, I thought I could somehow be of help to Seol Yuwha, but thinking again, the original didn’t have much helpful information.

In the first place, how detailed could the whereabouts of the villain be in the original?

‘Besides, there’s no guarantee that he went there this time.’

Unlike the original, Seol Yubin didn’t say she would die in reality. Even if it seemed like she was leaving, there’s no guarantee that the destination would be the same.

‘If there’s any clue I have… it’s just this.’

I pulled out a neatly folded piece of paper from my pocket. It was a letter that Seol Yubin had sent me. I unfolded the letter and read it again from the beginning.

‘There’s nothing particularly helpful in this, either.’

Even though I thought so hard, as always, there was nothing.

‘…It feels somewhat empty.’

Probably, there were too few clues about the two main characters, Jin Haeyul and Seol Yubin, who would play the most important roles in my happy ending plan. So, it would be better not to move hastily.

‘For now, about Seol Yubin, I’ll stick with Seol Yuwha and find out, and as for Jin Haeyul, I should dig a little deeper into the Samdaeboi.’

With that conclusion, I closed the diary.

At that moment, a text message came to my phone.

“World Rank 0: Come to the gym storage during break.”

During break.

I headed to the gym storage as instructed by Seol Yuwha.

‘Why the gym storage of all places?’

I was reluctant to go because it was a place with bad memories. It’s where all my dark history is gathered. Why did it have to be here when I didn’t even know and called for it? It’s quite a clever place selection to suppress my initiative.
‘I need to hold the door well today so that it doesn’t lock.’ Now that I have my phone, I can call someone if necessary, but… based on the lesson I learned from the hospital last time, I decided not to rely on others’ help as much as possible. It’s the era of everyone for themselves. Let’s survive on our own.

Smart. Before entering the gym storage, I knocked.

“Come in.”

With a creaking sound, the door opened.

Seol Yuwha was already inside the dusty gym storage. Seol Yuwha spoke expressionlessly.

“What’s with the knock?”

Oh, people can knock. Why is she making a big deal out of it?

But being the cunning and sly Lee Jueun, instead of arguing, I put on a sly smile.

“Just… wanted to see if someone was inside.”

“Hmph.”

Seol Yuwha scoffed at me. Yeah, my appearance must be amusing. Still, it’s better than becoming a complete castaway who turns into an advanced coma, resisting the world rank 0. I timidly opened my mouth, putting bricks in the gap to keep the door from closing.

“But why did you call me?”

Then, Seol Yuwha reached out her hand towards me.

“Hand it over.”

When male lead is the homewrecker

“I know she doesn’t love him.”

I’ve read the novel below twice already. Girls, I’m highly recommending it to you!

The female lead? Not a good person.
The second male lead? Not a good person.
The male lead? Willingly plays the third party, breaking up the female and second male lead’s relationship despite all the warnings from his friends—so yeah, he’s definitely not a good person either.

Basically, nobody in this novel is simple-minded or without scheming.

The female lead starts off as the male lead’s secretary, but don’t worry—later on, she takes over the company while the male lead steps back to support her. He won’t steal her spotlight, overshadow her, or dull her shine.

I love novels where men are out here snatching wigs, tearing each other down, and going to war just to win the female lead’s affection. And this is exactly that kind of novel. Most of Hai Dai Ran’s works have this dynamic. You’ll see the male characters’ emotions being pushed to the absolute extreme.

There’s even a scene where the second male lead exposes the male lead online for being a homewrecker. The brotherhood immediately gangs up on him, dragging him through the mud. I find it compelling —it completely flips reality on its head, where usually, women are the ones fighting over a man and getting torn apart by the sisterhood.

For me, female leads in the novels I read should only struggle in their careers, not in love. But if the brainless romantics in the story are all men? I have zero complaints.

I’ve pretty much read all of Hai Dai Ran’s novels and even translated all of them—her works are just my thing. I’ll slowly upload everything here. One day, when my website is official, I hope I can invite her to join as one of the star authors.

Here’s the story synopsis:

One-line summary: She is his lifelong obsession, to the point where he was willing to be a third wheel, scorned by society, just to wedge his way into her relationship with her fiancé.

Cold-hearted and indifferent female lead + Scheming and subservient CEO male lead

Intro 1:

“I know she doesn’t love him.”

With blood trickling from his clenched fist, Rong Xiu gazed at the woman before him, his eyes clouded with anguish. Hidden in the wardrobe, he had witnessed Fan Xia – the woman he desperately loved – in an intimate embrace with her fiancé. Yet his heart still yearned for her, defying all reason.

Fan Xia, the elegant and composed assistant, carried something mysterious in her eyes whenever she looked at her fiancé, Wen Lan Sheng. Strange occurrences began to surface – secret meetings with the young Gu Jin Yi, an unexplained withdrawal of 5,000 yuan… Then suddenly, her fiancé’s sister, Wen Jing, violently attacked her.

In this matriarchal society, Rong Xiu had risen to become the chairman of a powerful healthcare conglomerate, breaking through gender prejudices. But for the first time, he willingly stepped into the shadows as the other man, disregarding his friends’ warnings to become her secret lover.

Because he had discovered the truth – Fan Xia wasn’t the pure angel everyone believed her to be. And perhaps, he was the only one capable of helping her execute her mysterious plan…

Intro 2:

Rong Xiu’s biggest regret in life was missing out on Fan Xia.

He secretly loved Fan Xia for 7 years.

Watched her go public with her boyfriend.

Watched her kiss her boyfriend at their wedding.

Until that man blissfully nestled in Fan Xia’s arms, obtaining everything he could only dream of.

The crazy jealousy stripped away his hidden secret love, layer by layer, burning like wildfire.

Fan Xia, how can I have you!
