Cordelia muttered uncertainly, standing in the corridor. She had arrived at Kanon’s laboratory after repeatedly stopping passing mages to ask for directions. Taking a short breath, she knocked on the door.

She knocked more than ten times, but there was no response from inside. It seemed no one was in the lab.
‘What should I do? Should I just go back?’
While she stood hesitating in front of the door, someone tapped her on the back.
“Yes?”
“Who are you?”
“Oh, I’m Cordelia Vasquez. I’m here with a letter—you know, a message from Lady Matilda.”
She stammered slightly out of nervousness. Fortunately, the other person didn’t seem to mind much. The tall man with brown hair answered with a tired expression.
“He’s not inside right now. He’s got some other business to attend to.”
“He’s not in the Magic Association?”
“No, not exactly. He’s got something urgent because of an exam. Are you in a hurry?”
“Well… not really urgent. Then where is he right now?”
“He’s probably in the Zenuvit Hall on the third floor.”

the diffrent is cordelia is trying really hard day and night for almost half a year, she love magic and never give up even leo belittle her soo many times,and she only manage to make barrier magic,you on the other hand have defense magic on like 1 moth?get out of her,no one belive it especially you quit magic 10 years ago?

cordelia is just like fern in frieren, she think she is nothing special because her master is literally frieren the slayer, so she think she just average,but because of that she is humble and thats why i love her more
