Who Spent the Night with the Tower Master (Completed Main Story) - Chapter 62
Riley hiccupped from sheer shock. Gibnen gently stroked her back.
“Suddenly? You mean those two are meeting again?”
“That’s how it seemed.”
“No, why…?”
“I don’t know. But it’s definitely not a meeting that’ll turn out well for you or me.”
“…I just can’t understand it.”
“Honestly, I don’t get it either.”
Their relationship had ended in bitter enmity.
Hadn’t they become utterly incompatible the moment they broke off their engagement?
Ryan had been kicked and insulted by Count Ermeintz, and until recently, he’d still suffered bouts of shame over that memory.
That day remained an unforgettable humiliation for Uncle.
“Could it be that Count Ermeintz is holding a grudge against Uncle and planning to harm him?”
“No, if that were the case, he would’ve done it back then.”
“…”

Male lead fell into her trap — and shattered when she walked away
This is also on my reread list!
This one is a slow burn, but when it burns, it burns hard.
Definitely worth a read, y’all!

The story follows a thousand-year-old seductive spirit who, on a bet, sets out to charm the male lead—a once-promising but unfortunate cultivator.
But just when she succeeds in making him fall for her, she heartlessly leaves, driving him to madness.
Determined to find her at all costs, he captures her, keeping her by his side no matter what, even if she hates him.
I love this kind of trope—I enjoy watching the male lead suffer in agony.
The ending drags a bit with unnecessary filler, but that’s fine.
As long as I enjoy the beginning, I’m good.

Hard to guess how he will take this request. I can see him laughing it off to be stubborn or going with it for some type of leverage or advantage
Well that’s a grim and fucked up way to do it. You don’t need to kill them all if you don’t create this type of power struggle
So far this means the third prince is my favorite. Hopefully he doesn’t wade in the muck
