Who Spent the Night with the Tower Master (Completed Main Story) - Chapter 55
“Well, someone’s gone missing!”
Hilla immediately went to the student council to report Riley’s disappearance. The first-year representative of the student council responded with apparent regret.
“Are you absolutely certain she’s really gone? Could she have just wanted some time alone or had an urgent matter to attend to?”
“She vanished right in the middle of our walk! I mean, she literally evaporated!”
“Do you really think that makes any sense? Besides, Riley Eadallin… her reputation among fellow students isn’t exactly stellar. She never quite fit in with the group—maybe she found the welcome party uncomfortable and deliberately left.”
“If she didn’t want to attend, she wouldn’t have followed me all the way here! And she was having such a good time!”
If a Horizon-affiliated student has gone missing, shouldn’t the Horizon student council be taking action?
Hilla couldn’t understand their passive attitude.
“Hey, freshman, instead of standing around here, why don’t you ask the City Guard for help?”
“…I already tried. They told me to go back and wait, but it was obvious they were annoyed. They didn’t seem to take it seriously at all. It’s clear they won’t actually search for her.”
“…Unfortunately, we can’t mobilize everyone over one person’s disappearance. Besides, the welcome party is still ongoing, isn’t it? Maybe if it were a toddler or two, but we can’t drop everything just because one full-grown adult has vanished. Our duty is to ensure the safety of the majority and see this event through to the end.”
“…”
“I understand you’re worried about your friend, but try to calm down and think rationally. A grown adult should be perfectly capable of looking after herself, especially here in Lurat, which has excellent security! The chances of anything happening so early in the evening are slim! That walking path is even a popular tourist spot—there are always plenty of people around! The likelihood she got caught up in a crime or accident there is very low.”
Hilla couldn’t find words to argue back. After all, she herself wasn’t entirely sure if Riley was truly in danger.
‘But Riley isn’t the type to disappear without a word…’

When scheming men desperately battle for her favor in the male harem

This one’s also on my reread list! The rivalry, scheming between the men in the imperial harem are just as intense and thrilling as in classic palace drama novels, where concubines fight to the death. Give it a read, girls! I promise you won’t be disappointed.
Synopsis:
“I am not worthy of her… but I still want to be by her side, even if only as a loyal dog…”
Those were the painful whispers of Yue Guanyi – the proud Crown Prince of the Great Qi, who was torn between deep love and a guilty conscience. Despite holding the supreme power of the Imperial Guard, he still could not forget the dark past when he was sold into a brothel.
Fate played a cruel twist when Qiu Shuzhi – a young female official who had just passed the imperial examinations with top honors – stepped into his life. She did not know that she was the one who had saved him from a tragic fate many years ago. And now, her heart was the target of pursuit for both Yue Guanyi and the powerful Empress Dowager Qin Qing.
While Yue Guanyi only dared to silently care for and protect the one he loved from afar, the Empress Dowager Qin Qing openly expressed his feelings and did not hesitate to take advantage of his power to approach Qiu Shuzhi. The covert struggle between the two most powerful forces in the imperial court began…

ok but you have to do more then just a mask if you are hiding your identity. Also long red hair? there is enough about this world similar to ours that that is going to stand out and make you easier to trace.
