“It was an earring, wasn’t it? The magical artifact you said was your late mother Empress Consort’s keepsake.”

“Right.”

Noah brushed his empty earlobe once, then interlaced his fingers with Amy’s before she could notice and pull away. He quickly continued speaking.

“It’s a long story… but it turns out that earring was a magical artifact controlling my powers.”

“What?”

Amy’s eyes widened. That meant…

While Amy stood dazed in thought, Noah calmly ran his fingers through her hair, marveling at how even her hair perfectly suited his taste, and went on explaining.
