Seeing Noah staring blankly out the window, Rita quietly approached and spoke.
“…Already?”
Noah pouted and frowned. Ever since he’d been forbidden from going outside due to the lingering effects of poisoning, his daily pleasure had been sitting by the grand floor-to-ceiling window in the sunlit reception room, wrapped in a thick cloak, sipping hot tea.

Noah trudged gloomily out of the reception room, with Rita following behind. As they climbed the stairs, they ran into Melburn coming down from the upper floor.
“Your Highness, heading back to your chambers?”
Melburn hurried over, smiling as he saw how much better Noah looked, and Noah gave a brief nod before continuing up the stairs indifferently. Just as Melburn shrugged and turned to descend again, Noah suddenly turned back and asked him,
