After experiencing the house collapse due to the explosion and seeing me collapse, she must have felt very insecure. I was grateful that she wasn’t throwing more tantrums.

The capital’s train station was unusually bustling with processions.

There were the imperial knights in golden armor with golden flags and a procession carrying the red flags of the Luizette family. Although from different affiliations, they were waiting for the same train.

People who had been waiting since the crack of dawn began to stir as if on cue when the long-awaited train finally arrived at the station.
The Imperial Second Knight Order approached the front of the platform first. It was only natural, given that His Highness the Grand Duke, second in line for the throne, was arriving.

“The train is arriving!”

The stationmaster waved a flag and blew a horn. Accompanying his command, the distant sound of the steam engine’s exhaust started to approach with a chug-chug.

The train, which had been speeding along the rails, slowed down to half its speed as it approached the platform. Then it slowed down by half again, and once more, until it finally came to a stop, aligned with the line of knights.
