Noticing Ga Eul’s lukewarm reaction, Oh Myung Hee proposed a new deal.

“First, tell me what information you’re offering. I need to know what it is before I can decide.”

“Go Ye Rim is involved in what’s going to happen in Grandfather’s room today. They say CEO Gi Dae Woong exposed the corruption at Heungsan Savings Bank, and this is her retaliation for that.”

Ga Eul didn’t doubt Oh Myung Hee’s words. Since Go Ye Rim’s older sister had married Oh Myung Hee’s maternal cousin, Oh Myung Hee and Go Ye Rim were related by marriage—twice removed. Given their similar ages, it was safe to assume they were close.

Thus, what Oh Myung Hee had just said wasn’t baseless rumor.

“There is no evidence.”

“What did you say? You lied to me?”

“Even so, I’ll help you get a divorce. I’ll make sure you divorce Park Gyu Jae—even without that evidence.”

Ga Eul recalled Park Gyu Jae’s contemptuous smirk and how he’d humiliated Oh Seong Bin. She could see why Oh Myung Hee would want a divorce.

“Just tell me one thing—where did you hear that CEO Gi Dae Woong exposed Heungsan Savings Bank’s corruption?”
