Ga Eul’s footsteps followed Yang Gi Tae as she saw him enter the kitchen of the Korean restaurant. The kitchen was much larger and more modern than she had imagined. People were busily working inside, and she couldn’t muster the courage to step in.

While surveying the kitchen from the entrance, Ga Eul caught sight of a peculiar scene. Yang Gi Tae was directing several people to pack dishes into plastic bags. Those handling the task weren’t dressed as restaurant staff.

Ga Eul quietly slipped away from the spot. Apparently, the president was scheming something. Though she’d worked under him for over a year, she’d never heard him mention meeting his family—and yet, here he was, unexpectedly bringing her along to meet them!

Truly, he was a president full of secrets and hidden intentions.

After lingering briefly in the garden, Ga Eul returned to the dining area.

Chairman Ki’s question suddenly flew straight at Ga Eul—a second strike, timed precisely for the moment she let her guard down, assuming no one would pay her any attention.

“How much of the company’s money did Dae Cheol embezzle? To cover all that, Deputy President Ki, you’d need to sell off a substantial portion of your Shinhwa shares, wouldn’t you?
