When The Silver Bell Of Charlotte's Pharmacy Rings (Completed Main Story) - Chapter 50
Two days later, at Montovit Station.
Charlotte, dragging a worn-out travel bag in one hand and holding a basket in the other, looked around the square in front of the station with a bewildered expression.
For a moment, she wondered whether she had come to the wrong place or had somehow dropped into a strange world altogether.
She saw no street vendors, porters, or rows of shared carriages and automobiles waiting to pick up newly arrived travelers from the train.
The large fountain at the center of the square vigorously spurted blue water, yet there were no children playing nearby, nor anyone waiting for passengers.
‘What on earth is going on…?’
Too bewildered to immediately step back inside the station, she spotted a man rolling a cigarette in a corner.
Judging by his attire, he seemed to be a porter, yet even after catching Charlotte’s eye, he made no move to approach and offer to carry her luggage.
He probably judged it wouldn’t be worth his while since she didn’t have much baggage.
The man, who had been absorbed in rolling his cigarette with his head bowed, lit it and then glanced back at Charlotte once more.
“Has something happened at the station, by any chance?”
When Charlotte asked, the man rotated his cigarette between his thin lips and shrugged both shoulders.
“How should I know? They say all trains departing from Montovit today have been canceled because some very important person is coming through.”
Charlotte blinked twice.
Unable to say that “important person” was herself, she merely nodded vaguely as if she hadn’t understood him and dragged her travel bag toward the station entrance.

Cold Male Lead Became My Clingy Husband (Female-Dominant)
Feng Bai Su transmigrated into a matriarchal novel, becoming the sister of the female protagonist and the Seventh Princess of the Feng Ling Kingdom.
After working herself to death in her previous life, finally reincarnating as a princess, she only wanted to be a lazy fish who could eat, sleep, and play.
Until she met the male protagonist from the book, Wei Jing Mo, and he took a liking to her!
Wei Jing Mo is the top young man in Feng Ling City, talented in both appearance and ability, from a prestigious family, with a cold and otherworldly appearance, a figure like the bright moon in the hearts of noble ladies. It was thought that only the most powerful and talented noble lady in Feng Ling City would be worthy of such a brilliant young man. Who knew that this young gentleman would secretly admire the infamous Seventh Princess?
Short scene 1:
Feng Bai Su looked at the young man crying like a pear blossom in the rain before her, and couldn’t help but doubt her life.
Wasn’t the male lead described as a cold and otherworldly figure in the book?
Then who was this poor little thing crying with swollen red eyes and tear-stained face?
Short scene 2:
Wei Jing Mo stared intently at Feng Bai Su who was about to go out, wanting to say, “Be careful on the road.”
Before he could speak, Feng Bai Su suddenly bent down and bit his cheek.
Her peach blossom eyes were full of disdain: “Tsk! You’re so clingy!”
Wei Jing Mo: “…”
A talented fox spirit female lead with a flirtatious appearance but actually abstinent VS A cold-looking but actually naive and clingy little jealous male lead

So a spirit has been following her? A playful one it seems…

A soft smile appeared on Adonion’s lips.
There is something suspicious about this guy. Maybe because of the way the light glinted off his monocle, just like in an anime…something is off with him

I’m on Tar Mi’s side here. The Duke seems a bit too careless about his relationship with Charlotte. Feelings or no, it’s as if he hasn’t given any thought to the consequences any of his actions will have on her and her life. I’d say any feelings he has are superficial at best.

To be honest, Tae Mi is my favorite character in this novel.
Wow that’s grotesque. I didn’t think this novel was going to be so gorey
