When The Silver Bell Of Charlotte's Pharmacy Rings (Completed Main Story) - Chapter 121
Though the answer wasn’t particularly reassuring, there was no longer any choice. Charlotte took the tin cup wrapped in leather, took a sip of the coffee inside, and began telling the story about Crest Morren.
After spotting in a newspaper decades ago a man who looked exactly like Crest Morren, Lina James had since been searching for anything else similar to him.
Thus, she wasn’t particularly surprised to learn he’d been living in different places for over a hundred years, merely changing his name each time.
However, she couldn’t hide her shock upon hearing he was actually a vampire and had repeatedly brought his families to prosperity only to destroy them.
“Is that really true?”
Lina James asked incredulously. Her tone made it clear immediately that she wasn’t truly doubting Charlotte or Matiel—rather, she simply didn’t want to believe it.
Charlotte said,
“We’re tracking Crest Morren and are certain he’s somewhere in the capital right now. To do that, we need to uncover every possible detail about Morren, and at this moment, the only person who knows the most recent version of him is Mr. Dolpher James.”
“Then the foreigner who came by last time—was he after the same goal as you? Asking about Crest Morren?”
Matiel replied,
“That’s correct. He’s an informant working under me.”
“How absurd. That’s utterly absurd. In my entire life, will I ever encounter something this unbelievable again?”
Lina muttered to herself before continuing,
“Then why did my father collapse?”
Charlotte explained the possibility of a curse. Though she was anxious about whether Lina James would believe her or not, given how outrageous the previous story had already sounded, Lina surprisingly accepted it without much resistance.

My Step-brother Is Obsessed With Me (Female-dominant)
A gentle female protagonist vs pitiful in the early stage, and a sick male protagonist in the later stage
Cheng Songer transmigrated into the body of a vicious cannon fodder female supporting character with the same name as her in a female-dominant novel.
In the original story, the cannon fodder female supporting character was inhumane, committing domestic violence, gambling excessively, being lustful, and even wanting to sell her stepbrother to a brothel for money.
As luck would have it, she just happened to transmigrate at this time.
Seeing Cheng Qingzhi biting his lip, enduring the tears in his eyes, looking pitiful, her heart softened.
She stuffed the money back into the Madam’s hand and reached out to him.
“Brother, come home with me.”
