Emilia blankly rubbed her forehead. The sweat that had clung to her skin moments ago had already dried up.

Her body temperature had dropped sharply, sending chills through her.

‘…Let’s go for now.’

Her motivation had plummeted. Emilia gathered her things and left the practice room.

The empty hallway was quiet. It had always been this way ever since she joined the troupe. But for Director Carlo to still be here at this hour—let alone come all the way down to the practice room—surprised her. Just as Emilia reached for the dressing room door with a puzzled look—

She froze at the sound coming from somewhere nearby.

‘Where’s that voice coming from?’

After glancing around once, Emilia pressed her ear against the door.

“What does Emilia say?”

“What could she possibly say? She just bowed her head and apologized.”
