Woo Jin recoiled in shock, trying to pull away—when a soft whimper came from below his shoulder. He must have stepped on her foot. Sure enough, a resentful voice rose from below,
“You did that on purpose!”
He wanted to shake off her hand gripping his arm—but his body wouldn’t move. Instead, a flustered stammer escaped him,
“No, I didn’t!”
“You didn’t? You totally saw it and stepped hard on purpose!”
“I can’t see!”
“Owwww—my foot bone’s probably broken!”
Seemingly ignoring his explanation, she gripped his arm even tighter—she must really be in pain.

At the mention of having to return to Grandfather’s house again, Woo Jin’s previously blank face twisted visibly in displeasure.

Woo Jin remained silent. Though his eyes couldn’t see, Ji Hyun—who felt as if his brother were staring straight at him—gave a small chuckle.
“Why?”
Hearing the laugh, Woo Jin asked with clear displeasure. Ji Hyun waved his hand dismissively.
“Nothing—it’s just surprising that you actually let that woman into your house. You hated her so much at first… Do you even know her name?”
“No.”
“You don’t? But you told her your name, right?”
“She never told me hers.”
