“Puh-eh-chew!”

Su Young sneezed so hard mid-shampoo that it felt like the bathroom might fly off. Wearing that airy, fluttery dress yesterday had clearly been the cause.

She wasn’t even going to the interview anyway—why bother dressing up when it’s gotten so cold? And besides, she hadn’t even gotten to show it off to Seol Woo Jin. Though… he had touched it, so that counted for something…

“Achoo!”

This time, snot trailed right out of her nose. There was no doubt about it—she’d caught a cold.

Pausing while setting the table, Su Young blew her nose into a tissue. She’d bought spicy stir-fried octopus from a side-dish shop on her way home, yet now had absolutely no appetite for it.

Just as she was thinking she’d only watch Woo Jin eat, as if reading her mind—or perhaps failing at being a proper gentleman—he appeared in the kitchen.

“Give me food.”

Same words, same flat tone as always. She’d once heard that the phrase a wife dreads most from her husband in old age is “Bring me food”—yet here she was, only twenty-five, and already understanding that feeling all too well.

Wasn’t a manager supposed to handle schedules and such? Shouldn’t they not be serving meals? But then again, she’d seen managers even buy kimbap for their celebrities, so maybe it really was all the same—taking care of things, one way or another.

“Sit down.”

At Su Young’s words, Woo Jin started to sit but then fixed his gaze on her instead.

“What?”

“Your voice… sounds weird.”

“Oh, I guess my voice changed because I’ve got a cold.”
