Although I told her to stay over and sleep, I thought it would be unreasonable for a woman to stay overnight at a man’s house alone.

Didn’t I already emphasize last time just how much danger she had braved to come here?

From the sounds coming from the living room, it seemed she was diligently calling dry cleaners, but apparently none were willing to deliver her clothes today. It was indeed too late. I started to feel bad about getting her clothes wet.

It was almost dinner time, so I needed to feed her something. What should I order for her? Suddenly, I thought about making her some kimbap.

Back in school during festival days, his kimbap had been wildly popular—so much so that all ingredients ran out within fifteen minutes, an incident still talked about long after the festival ended.

But I hadn’t made any since the accident… Do I even have the ingredients?

I half-teasingly asked her to make some, but as expected, she was clearly someone who had sworn off cooking. I ended up calling Ji Hyun for the supermarket number and ordered the necessary kimbap ingredients myself.

It had been a long time since I’d made any, so I was a bit nervous, but thankfully my hands seemed to remember how. Time passed smoothly, and the awkwardness never set in—it turned out to be a really good idea.

She was staring at me so intently that I asked her to cut the kimbap rolls instead, somewhat doubting whether she’d do it well.

Just as expected. The girl who clearly avoided cooking also couldn’t handle a knife properly. I’d never seen kimbap this thick in my life.

It was a little bland, probably because I hadn’t seasoned the rice, but it was still edible.

“It’s delicious…”

Su Young murmured, sounding surprised.

“Yeah?”

Though the rolls were thick and dry, I was grateful she was enjoying them. Yet showing pleasure would’ve bruised my pride, so I deliberately replied as nonchalantly as possible.
