Seol Ji Hyun’s house had two studies. One belonged to Seol Ji Hyun, and the other to Kwon Yeon Seo.

Though the rooms were side by side and connected by a door in the middle—making it unnecessary to go outside to move between them—they rarely used that door.

Whenever Yeon Seo worked from home, Ji Hyun was usually out, and whenever Ji Hyun worked remotely, Yeon Seo often had to stay late at the office.

Their schedules unintentionally kept missing each other so consistently that Yeon Seo always vaguely assumed the room next door was empty—until today, when that assumption proved wrong.

Yeon Seo, whose eyes were bloodshot from staring at the monitor analyzing sales reports, suddenly saw the connecting door open.

Ji Hyun peeked his head through the gap. When their eyes met, he gave an awkward smile and stepped inside.

He was dressed in a housecoat—apparently, he’d already come home.

“When did you get back?”

“A little while ago. I took a shower. Are you busy?”

“Oh, I’ve got a meeting tomorrow, so I’m just reviewing some materials.”

Even as she spoke, Yeon Seo couldn’t help sneaking glances at her husband’s body, partly visible through his loosely tied housecoat.

Get a grip, Kwon Yeon Seo! This man doesn’t even consider you family!

Snapping back to focus, Yeon Seo sharply turned her head back to the monitor. Meanwhile, Ji Hyun stretched out his body on the beige leather sofa.

“If you’re going to sleep, go to the bedroom.”
