“I only found out recently myself. Ah Rin said she learned the truth when she was fourteen, during the summer.”

“How… but how could that be?”

“You know as well as I do—Ah Rin has such a warm heart. Yet she still embraced them as her family. Whether or not they were bound by blood, to Ah Rin, even unworthy parents were still her parents.”

Eun Ah finally burst into tears. Liam pulled his wife close by the shoulders.

“How could such a little child….”

Eun Ah couldn’t finish her sentence. Emotions surged from deep within her heart.
