“Huh? Why?”

Dulcinea responded with a look of complete bewilderment.

She clung naturally to Aslan’s arm and gazed up at him with wide, raised eyes.

Even Hestia, another woman, found that expression utterly adorable.

Aslan, seemingly unable to maintain his usual blank expression any longer, lightly scolded her in a relaxed tone.

“You really ought to grow up a bit. How long will you keep acting like a foal with horns sprouting from your backside?”

Dulcinea pouted her lips.

Yet, sensing that his nagging came from affection, she began to whine playfully.

“Tch. We haven’t seen each other in ages, and all you have to say is nagging? Isn’t that just too much?”

At her grumbling, Aslan finally let out a soft chuckle, his expression clearly saying he couldn’t deal with her antics anymore.

He raised his free hand and reached toward Dulcinea’s face.

At that moment, Hestia flinched involuntarily.

She suddenly recalled the rough kiss he’d pressed against her own face earlier, before Madam Philippa and Dulcinea had entered the room.

Surely not—right in front of her eyes. Surely not……

Hestia watched them both with widened pupils, her heart tightening and her mouth drying up without her control.
