So Hestia followed Aslan’s suggestion.

Just as she had anticipated, without her present, the knights’ boisterous laughter occasionally rang out heartily from outside the carriage during mealtimes.

Thus, Hestia ended up living almost as if imprisoned inside the carriage for the entire journey.

Naturally, her movements decreased, and perhaps because of that, she felt her digestion wasn’t working well.

“Shall I take a little walk today?”

Of course, it was quite cold outside, but the sky was so clear and beautiful that she felt it would be a shame to spend the whole time indoors—this thought sparked an impulse in her.

Eventually, Hestia quietly stepped down from the carriage.

It would be better not to catch the knights’ attention.

She began treading carefully over the snow, intending to muffle her footsteps—but being so light on her feet, no sound, not even the usual crisp crunch, betrayed her presence.

“How fun.”

Hestia became absorbed in leaving footprints across the white snowfield.

How long had she walked, staring only at the ground?

Soon, she heard murmuring voices nearby.

Only then did Hestia snap out of her reverie and lift her head to look around.
