The room she initially used had the best lighting in the Ducal residence and had been lovingly prepared by the Duke’s wife for Bialle before she was born.

Despite its affectionate history, young Bialle had asked to move rooms just to be near the large and majestic tree.

The Duke was reluctant to let her leave the best room for a different one.

But when his sensible daughter threw a tantrum, the Duke’s wife had no choice but to relent, and Gaisen, who had been waiting for the opportunity, took over the room Bialle originally used.

Back then, the Duke would often threaten four-year-old Gaisen that if he caused trouble, he would move him back to the original room.

Bialle smiled, reminiscing about those peaceful times.

Then, someone knocked on her door three times, and Bialle got up from the window.

At the door stood a servant she had assigned a task to before dinner.

He seemed to have successfully completed her request to fetch dried leaves of Densipollia, handing her a bottle full of them.

Sitting at her mahogany desk, Bialle fiddled with the dried leaves of Densipollia in the bottle.

The more she thought about Dension, the more she missed him.

“Sion, what should I do now?”

She had returned to the past to save him, but as a sixteen-year-old Bialle, her actions were greatly restricted.

Until she became an adult, she had to be accompanied by at least three knights whenever she left the family grounds, and outings not related to social events were not permitted.

She didn’t want to put Dension in a difficult situation because of her desires.

Yet, waiting until she turned eighteen to become an adult was not an option either, prompting her to sigh deeply.

She feared that without keeping the dried leaves of Densipollia in sight, Dension’s existence might vanish forever.
Even if she did not keep the dried leaves of Densipollia in front of her, Bialle feared that his existence might disappear forever.

“I wish you could be happy now.”

‘I’ll make it happen.’

She was content even if she couldn’t meet him.

Her only fervent wish was that, unlike her past life, he would not be killed.

Of course, Dension couldn’t remember the current Bialle.

If she went to him and embraced him with joy, wouldn’t he be displeased to meet such a strange woman in broad daylight?

Bialle shook her head at such an absurd thought.

Thinking about it, her first encounter with Dension was arguably the worst; she couldn’t say it was great, risking everything for it.

Since she never expected to fall for him, Bialle closed her eyes tightly, reminiscing about their first meeting.

Bialle first met Dension on the day of her seventeenth birthday when the Ducal family held a grand banquet in her honor.

Her first birthday after her debutante ball at sixteen coincided with the fall social season, drawing many heirs from various territories to the capital.

The Duke, as if intent on demonstrating the Luschev family’s immeasurable wealth, reportedly allocated several blank checks for the banquet’s budget.

He displayed such wealth because, although the Luschev family was among the richest in the empire, their noble lineage wasn’t very ancient.

The first Count Luschev came from a commoner family that operated the largest trading company in the capital, amassing wealth and eventually receiving a count’s title from the royal family after presenting considerable wealth and making wise counsels.

Although lower in rank than high nobles, they became one of the richest and closest central noble families to the royal court.

But the Luschevs didn’t stop at that title.

Several generations up from Bialle’s ancestors, one of them managed to receive a dukedom for their contributions, after seizing an opportunity.

At that time, the empire was engaged in a prolonged war for control of the golden lands of Heilon, struggling with food supply and equipment.

Neighboring countries hesitated to intervene, merely observing the situation.

At this juncture, the Count Luschev, using their trading connections, helped procure war supplies from other countries, leading to a victorious campaign alongside the royal family.

For their remarkable contributions, the Luschev family was promptly elevated to a dukedom.

However, despite their achievements, some still belittled the Luschevs.

Nobles with ancient lineages resented the Luschevs, a family of humble merchant origins, for continuing such a high-ranking title.

My Arch-enemy Sealed My Memory and Said That He is My Husband

This is an incredibly captivating story that you absolutely shouldn’t miss! I’ll give a brief introduction here, and below you’ll find a detailed synopsis of the plot.

The female lead is a fierce and powerful demon king. The male lead is a once-in-a-millennium celestial lord, admired by the entire cultivation world.

They are equally matched, legendary rivals who have battled for centuries.

In the final duel, the female lead is gravely injured. The male lead saves her, seals her memories, and hides her true identity. He tells her that he is her fiancé. His entire life has been flawless—except for the one thing he never expected, never controlled, and never wanted to control: falling for his greatest enemy. She is his inner demon, his obsession.

When the female lead regains her memories, she is furious at his deception.

She makes his life a living hell.

And somehow, the male lead—possibly a total masochist—doesn’t mind at all. In fact, he’s happy she’s paying attention to him.

Yep, we’re back to my favorite trope: male lead suffering. If you love this kind of story, jump into the pit with me now!!!

Intro

Dong Xia lost her memory.

Her handsome and extremely powerful fiancé Li Qing comforted her: “It’s okay if you can’t remember. I’ll always be with you.”

Everyone thought Dong Xia’s ancestors must have burned incense to get such a perfect fiancé. He was the number one person in the immortal realm, yet he remained chaste and only loved her.

…

The day before marrying her fiancé, Dong Xia finally remembered everything.

She wasn’t suffering from memory loss at all.

Her arch-enemy had made her fake her death, destroyed her cultivation, replaced her memories, and pretended to be her deeply in love fiancé.

No wonder he said, “It’s okay if you can’t remember”!

Dong Xia laughed coldly as she pulled out her long knife: Li Qing, prepare to die 🙂

*

Li Qing, as the supreme being of the immortal realm, was the people’s shining beacon.

The only unknown stain in his life was his affection for Dong Xia, the ruler of the demon realm.

In the final battle of the war between immortals and demons, the sky collapsed and the earth shattered. The ruler of the demon realm was finally slain under the sword of the supreme being of the immortal realm, and everyone in the immortal realm applauded.

The cultivation world lost a ruler of the demon realm.

And in the back mountain of Li Qing’s cave dwelling, he secretly hid away a fiancée.

Notes:

1. The female lead is white on the outside, black on the inside, and the queen of flattery; the male lead repeatedly tests the edge of darkness, a VIP guest at the crematorium.

2. Fantasy cultivation world setting.
