Hastily returning to the Luschev Ducal residence, Bialle quietly passed through the corridor that the maid had informed her about earlier.

It seemed busy with the evening rush, as the maid had said, and there were no servants in the corridor.

Bialle hurried to her room and changed into her indoor dress with the help of her waiting attendant.

She sighed in relief, thinking that no one had noticed her outing, when someone knocked on her door three times.

“Come in.”

“Miss, the Duke has returned. It’s almost time for dinner. Shall I call the other maids?”

It appeared her hair was untidily scattered, having rushed back without proper grooming.

Embarrassed, Bialle scratched her cheek and nodded, and soon the maids entered to help her with her attire.

When she went down to the dining room, both the Duke and Gaisen were already waiting for her.

Gaisen, at fifteen, had lost his grown man’s appearance, revealing a fresh-faced boyish look.

Seeing this, a smile escaped Bialle’s lips.

‘He was kind of cute at this age.’

Noticing her laughter, her father turned and greeted her warmly.

“Come sit down, Bia.”

“Yes, Father.”

It seemed the two had been in the middle of a conversation, but it ended abruptly upon her arrival.

Worried that her father might have been scolding her brother, Bialle cautiously observed Gaisen’s face, but fortunately, he seemed unaffected.

The long table, meticulously carved from natural marble, was laden with delicious-looking food.

“Thank you for allowing us to have such a delicious meal today. May the Luschev family always receive the blessings of Ekhart.”

As always, the three of them joined hands, closed their eyes, and prayed.

Bialle sipped only the warm soup, not touching any other food.

Her mind was filled with questions about the recent news of the Bereudum Duke’s passing, but she knew her father wouldn’t provide clear answers.

“Bia, don’t you like the food?”

The Duke looked at his daughter worriedly, and Bialle shook her head slightly in response.

“No, I’m just feeling a bit dizzy.”

“Should I call a doctor?”

“I think I’ll be fine after some rest.”

The Duke nodded shortly, then turned his gaze to his son, who resembled him closely.

“This boy always eats well, so no need to worry about him.”

Though he said so, the Duke’s eyes were full of affection for his son.

Bialle glanced at her younger brother and then agreed with the Duke’s words.

“That’s true.”

At this, Gaisen blushed slightly and grumbled softly.

“Everyone eats this much.”

Gaisen’s black hair often reminded Bialle of their mother.

A deep and considerate child, Gaisen had never expressed his need for maternal care, not wanting to sadden Bialle and the Duke.

He often complained about the charitable or social events hosted by the Ducal family but ultimately was always the most proactive.

Bialle was only worried that Gaisen had become unusually quiet around this time.

He used to be just a cute younger brother, but since he turned fifteen, she had started to feel a growing distance.

It was common for children to become sensitive with physical and hormonal changes during puberty, and it seemed Gaisen was no exception.
Bialle felt a sense of disappointment at the slightly changed behavior of her younger brother, Gaisen. She had thought that once this period passed, he would eventually return to his old self.

Despite this, she had no intention of trying to force their relationship back to what it used to be. She knew all too well that a relationship can’t be forcefully continued just because one desires and wishes for it.

Bialle planned to be the same support for Gaisen, allowing him to rely on her as much as he needed.

She would play her role by subtly establishing his position, ensuring he didn’t face embarrassing situations without him knowing.

‘After all, no one can be aloof at first.’

She hoped her brother wouldn’t be hurt by petty scrutiny and insults.

Bialle, feeling unwell with a headache, left the dinner table without finishing her meal and returned to her bedroom.

She changed into her nightdress with the help of her dressing maid and stayed alone in her room to clear her mind, sending everyone away.

Having informed the dining room she wouldn’t be attending dinner, she didn’t need to go out for the rest of the night.

Still feeling a slight headache from the aftermath of ‘the Eye of Truth,’ Bialle opened the window.

The gentle breeze blowing from afar seemed to clear her mind.

Had her personal maid Manolin seen her, she would have scolded her for catching a cold, but Manolin was away for a short break.

The view from Bialle’s room, overlooking a seldom-traveled path, was ideal for solitude and contemplation.

She absentmindedly sat at the window, gazing at the tall tree outside.

It was the same tree she had looked at every day for the past year before returning to the past, and Bialle never tired of it.

Now, checking the condition of the tall tree had become a part of her daily routine.

Originally, Bialle hadn’t used this room from the beginning.

When yandere male lead believes she loves him — but she never did

“How dare you!”

“How dare you make me love you, only to cast me aside as nothing more than a friend?!?

“I will never accept that.”

“I will never let you return to him.”

“Even if I have to burn myself to ashes.”

“Even if I must shatter my purity, my dignity, my very soul.”

“I will never let you escape me!”

This was the first novel that introduced me to the matriarchal genre. I’ve read it three times already!

At first, the male lead despised the female lead. Later, he misunderstood that she liked him, so he condescendingly and reluctantly reciprocated her feelings.

Then, he suddenly discovered that she was kind to everyone in the same way, and there was already someone she cherished in her heart, and that person was not him.

The male lead couldn’t believe it, he became angry and crazy. He was determined to capture her body and heart by any means necessary.

Synopsis:

Want to see how a green tea bitch male lead falls in love with the female lead?

Want to see how he flirtatiously pursues the female lead?

Want to see how he gets slapped in the face repeatedly?

The male lead is a green tea bitch, a poisonous lotus, jealous, ruthless, unscrupulous, with a venomous heart, and he’s also a delusional maniac.

The female lead is righteous, positive energy-filled, kind, a holy mother.

Let’s see how two people with extreme personalities come together~
