The shoot went smoothly until the afternoon. Even Woo Jun, who showed no signs of tiring and kept bouncing around, made lunchtime rowdy. Whenever Hye Yoon’s drowsy eyes—weighed down by food coma—met his, Woo Jun would silently mouth words from afar to jolt her awake.

“You look ugly right now.”

Hye Yoon, tidying her hair, spotted Ji Ho and Min Woo standing behind the camera. Ji Ho, having just finished a brief conversation, was walking back toward the set. When their eyes met up close, he offered her a faint smile.

“The director suggested we tweak the scene scheduled for the day after tomorrow.”

“Oh….”

Reading the curiosity in her eyes easily, Ji Ho answered before she even asked.

“I told them I was fine with it. Go check with the Director yourself later.”

“If Ji Ho is okay with it, I am too.”

“How do you even know what kind of scene it is?”

Looking up at him with playful skepticism, she caught the subtle curve of his lips. Just as she thought, ‘This guy really shines when he smiles,’ he suddenly placed both hands on top of Hye Yoon’s head.

One large palm cradled the back of her head, while the other carefully tugged at her hair tie.

“You tied it a bit looser earlier, didn’t you?”

“……”

Caught completely off guard by the unexpected touch, Hye Yoon froze. Then Ji Ho gently withdrew his hands and tilted his head slightly, examining her face as if checking his work.

“Yeah. That feels right.”
