The sun had already sunk low in the west.

As the red sunlight bathed the vast, eerily desolate building and the outdoor stage set up before it, the cast members, having successfully finished their special feature variety shoot, gathered once again in front of the cameras for their final talk segment.

Running through the abandoned mansion shivering with sheer terror had already been exhausting enough, but what amplified the crew’s fatigue even more was Oh Min Jung’s irritability and pettiness, which had escalated dramatically compared to yesterday.

At least she maintained a professional demeanor by controlling her facial expressions, mindful of how she’d appear on broadcast. Yet, her habit of delivering harsh words with a forced smile was so excessive it made everyone frown.

Although this behavior likely stemmed from her grudge against Eom So Yeon—whom she’d tormented until Tae Seo Jun retaliated fiercely—Oh Min Jung’s defiant provocation couldn’t overcome Eom So Yeon’s calm resilience, forged through years of enduring all manner of verbal abuse.
