As summer slowly receded, the sun—shorter than yesterday—hurried along the arrival of autumn.

By the time the dusky twilight deepened, Yeo Jung had already arrived at her older sister’s house in Gahoe-dong.

Bright lights adorned the spacious garden, evenly illuminating the outdoor pool and lawn. Beneath their glow, a white cotton canopy fluttered softly in the breeze. Seated face to face under the pergola, Yeo Jin and Yeo Jung lightly clinked their champagne glasses together.

“Lee Jun and Yong Jun still haven’t heard any news about grandchildren, right?”

“Yes, her. You must’ve noticed it too. Even I could clearly see she’s fond of Seo Jun. Has Seo Jun said anything about it?”

She’d been oddly beating around the bush, and now—sure enough—she was circling back to that topic again.

Having already heard rumors questioning whether the tender romance between Seo Jun and So Yeon in the drama was real, Yeo Jin swiftly cut in before her sister could say anything unnecessary.

“But what if—just in case—Seo Jun actually has feelings for her? What would you do, older sister?”
