When the door closed, Adele bit Kristin’s forearm tightly.

She wanted to ignore the queen’s invitation or whatever it was. Besides, she knew very well why the queen invited her.

Adele handed the dessert box she had made all morning to the queen’s maid. She brought it, thinking it was a simple tea gathering, but she should not have brought it in this atmosphere.

Adele’s dessert instantly became an object that diminished the dignity of the royal palace.

The women whispered as if they had been waiting.

“Your Majesty is too much. I understand what the etiquette for regular gatherings in the palace is since I was hiding in a rural area.”

Everyone pretended to be polite but criticized Adele.

However, Adele had to listen to those remarks while standing in the middle of the Audience Hall.

No empty chair was left where she could sit, perfectly arranged for everyone else.
