After work, Si Hyeon got on the bus. As usual, she didn’t get off in front of her house but rode straight through to the terminal stop before alighting.

Si Hyeon took out her phone, looked up the nearest cinema, and headed there. Even though the place was fairly crowded, it wasn’t hard to spot Tae Ha. She simply followed where all the women’s gazes were fixed—and sure enough, he was standing right there.

He’d come straight from work, still dressed in his suit, doing nothing but standing quietly—and yet, the air around Tae Ha alone felt different.

His confident build and beautiful face—even the slightly nervous expression—resembled a scene straight out of a movie. She knew clearly he was waiting for her, yet she wanted to admire him just a little longer.

Si Hyeon stayed where she was, gazing at Tae Ha from a distance. But before long, their eyes met as he glanced around.

In an instant, his previously anxious face blossomed into a wide, delighted smile.

“You’re here now?”

He rushed over and took Si Hyeon’s hand, letting out a relieved sigh.

“I was worried you wouldn’t come.”

You were anxious because I was late. Touched by his affection, Si Hyeon squeezed his hand firmly in return.

“I’m sorry I’m late—I took the bus.”

It was the day they’d planned to watch a movie together for their first date. To avoid being seen by others, she’d come as far away from the office as possible—but this was all it amounted to.

In truth, although this was their first official date, it wasn’t the first time they’d watched a movie together.

“Do you remember the last movie we saw together?”

When Si Hyeon asked with a soft chuckle, Tae Ha replied,
