“Well then, Associate Manager, I’ll be off. I’m worried Section Chief might get grumpy again if he sees me hanging around with you.”

Bo Ra gave an adorable wink, turned around, and hurried away with quick little steps.

Left alone, Si Hyeon chuckled softly to herself.

[She was pretty even in her school uniform, and still pretty with her employee badge on.]

Wait, was that even about Bo Ra?

She couldn’t bear the embarrassment of having seriously pondered, even for a moment, that those words were about herself. Of course, there was no way Tae Ha would ever look at her like that.

She now realized just how wise it had been to pretend she’d blacked out and couldn’t remember anything.

Now that she knew Bo Ra was the one he’d been talking about, Tae Ha’s words suddenly made perfect sense. After all, when had Lee Bo Ra ever not been beautiful? She’d probably remain lovely even right up until the day she was laid to rest.

[“Miss Bunhong, which team are you assigned to?”]

She finally understood why Tae Ha had gotten so unusually angry—it must have bothered him to see Bo Ra laughing and chatting with other people.

‘Yoon Tae Ha, you’re seriously jealous, aren’t you?’

Si Hyeon clicked her tongue inwardly.

Tae Ha must have called her “Miss Bunhong” because it was probably Bo Ra’s nickname back in high school. Come to think of it, Bo Ra did seem fond of the color pink.

“At least it’s a relief it wasn’t me…”

She deliberately spoke the words out loud but abruptly stopped and clamped her mouth shut as a sudden wave of emotion overwhelmed her.
