A senior employee frowned disapprovingly as A Hyeon pulled out a mirror to touch up her makeup even before the break had officially begun. Having warned her multiple times with no effect, the senior had now given up halfway.

“I’ll go take my break then.”

Humming a little tune, A Hyeon crossed the lobby when suddenly a passing guest called out her name.

Startled, she turned around to find her friend staring at her with eyes practically popping out of their sockets.

“What? I heard you started working at a company recently—so it’s the Grand Hotel?”

Her friend clapped her hands gleefully, as if she’d just caught a big fish.

“This is seriously amazing, Kang A Hyeon! Did you really get hired because of that guy? President Kennedy’s son… mmph!”

A Hyeon rushed over and quickly clamped her friend’s mouth shut.

“Come with me.”

She practically dragged her friend to a deserted spot. Only after confirming no one was around did she let go, and her friend immediately burst out with a torrent of words.

“What on earth gives you such confidence? President Kennedy made it clear he’d never accept anyone but that woman as his daughter-in-law!”
