“Wait a minute, is this…?”
Upon finally arriving, Si Hyun opened her eyes wide in surprise.

“This is PlayWorld, isn’t it?
It was the amusement park she had visited with Tae Ha a long time ago. She was so glad to remember the good old times that she forgot to be angry.

“Wow, how many years has it been?”
“I came when I was in third grade.”
Si Hyun counted on her fingers. That would have been when I was in second year of high school….

“Oh my, it’s been 16 years!”
Si Hyun looked at Tae Ha with newfound eyes.

“Yoon Tae Ha, when did you grow up like this?”
It must have been a very enjoyable memory. Given how vividly she recalled the events from 16 years ago.

Back then, how pretty Tae Ha was, and the fact that passersby couldn’t resist glancing at him, it all felt like yesterday.

“Wait a moment.”
While Tae Ha was buying tickets, people here and there sneakily stole glances at him. Especially women, they couldn’t take their eyes off Tae Ha. She laughed thinking that he still had the ability to catch people’s eyes.

The amusement park they entered after a while hadn’t changed much from her memory. Even the rides they rode back then were still there, which surprised her.

“Do you remember that? We rode it, didn’t we?”
Forgetting her reluctance to go just a moment ago, Si Hyun grabbed Tae Ha’s arm and pulled him along.

As it was a ride for kids, the people in the queue were all parents with their kids. The only adults who rode it were Si Hyun and Tae Ha.

“Wow, this is exciting!”
Even though they were on a low roller coaster for children, Si Hyun was so happy she didn’t know what to do. It felt like the blue sky was pouring into her heart.

“What shall we ride next?”
She asked excitedly as soon as they got off, then suddenly felt a lump in her throat.

She remembered the old times, when they had no money, they could only ride two things and spent all day watching others ride. She was fine as a high school student, but the thought of how much little Tae Ha wanted to ride made her heart ache.

‘When I become an adult and earn money, I should let Tae Ha ride lots of rides.’
That’s what she thought, but somehow, they never came back and Tae Ha had already grown up.

Si Hyun felt her eyes getting hot and looked up at the blue sky.

“Let’s ride everything we want this time.”
That answer came back, and she knew that Tae Ha was thinking the same thing.

“Late April, the weather was neither hot nor cold, just perfectly sunny. Everywhere I looked, the flowers were beautifully bloomed, making me involuntarily exclaim in admiration.

“I must have been feeling at ease,” Si Hyun thought. This spring, she didn’t even remember when the dreary cherry blossoms bloomed or fell, and it seemed only now did the flowers come into her sight.

With the clear blue sky and a gentle breeze making her feel good, simply walking around the amusement park made her feel so fresh that she felt like flying.

At times like this, it would be perfect to have an ice cream. Si Hyun glanced at the ice cream booths here and there. She was dragged out in such a hurry that she didn’t have her wallet, let alone her cell phone.

While she couldn’t dare say to her elder sister, “Buy me an ice cream,” Tae Ha noticed Si Hyun’s hesitations like a ghost.

“Do you want to eat ice cream?”
Tae Ha took Si Hyun to the ice cream booth. Then, he asked Si Hyun what she wanted to eat, ordered it for her, and even received and handed over the ice cream to her.

Si Hyun was a bit dumbfounded. I have a mouth and hands, don’t I?

“Thanks, but you.”
While licking the sweet cream, Si Hyun gave Tae Ha a slight glare.

“Do you seem to be treating me a little like a child?”
“I told you. You’re a child to me.”
As he replied, Tae Ha pulled out a handkerchief from his pocket and wiped the cream off Si Hyun’s mouth. This made her feel even more like a child.

“Since when?”
“Since I started liking you.”
At the confession that was made without any change in expression, Si Hyun hurriedly looked around in embarrassment. Fortunately, it didn’t seem like anyone had heard.

Before Si Hyun could say anything, Tae Ha quickly grabbed her wrist.

“Let’s ride that next.”
Since they arrived at the amusement park late in the afternoon, by the time they had ridden a few rides, the sun quickly set. One by one, the lights turned on here and there, and the amusement park started to sparkle brilliantly with a different face than the day.

As the sun set, it rapidly became chilly. For Si Hyun, who had no outerwear, Tae Ha took off his own and draped it over her.

“I’m okay.”
“I told you to wear something warm.”
Even while chiding her, Tae Ha zipped up the jacket himself. At that, Si Hyun awkwardly voiced out what she had been wanting to say.

“Thank you, for taking me out.”
If she had stayed at home on such a nice day, she might have been distressed.”

Standing beside Si Hyun, who was leaning on the fountain and looking at the darkening sky, Tae Ha spoke quietly.

“Was it the first time you’ve been here since you were with me a long time ago?”
