Inside the elevator was a very familiar—and long-missed—face.

As soon as he saw Yeo Woong, Seol Ji Oh gave a faint smile, and when he noticed her staring at him blankly, he quickly gestured with his eyes for her to get in.

Only then did Yeo Woong snap out of her daze and hurriedly step into the elevator. She’d momentarily frozen, seeing Seol Ji Oh after so long.

Just then, a group of people suddenly pushed into the elevator, instantly shoving Yeo Woong deep inside among the crowd.

When she came to her senses, she found herself standing right next to Seol Ji Oh.

Her heart began to flutter at the sight of his strikingly handsome features so clearly visible beside her. Glancing sideways at Seol Ji Oh, Yeo Woong’s lips parted unconsciously the moment their eyes met directly.

She’d clearly decided not to acknowledge him until they reached her room—so why was Seol Ji Oh even in this elevator? Had he come to meet her?

The thought that Seol Ji Oh had come to greet her made her spirits lift slightly. Yeo Woong forcefully calmed her racing heart, reached out, tapped her keycard against the elevator panel, and pressed 34.

She quietly stared at the rising floor numbers. The other passengers chattered noisily in a language she couldn’t understand.

Just having Seol Ji Oh beside her made her so flustered she wriggled her toes—when suddenly, his hand brushed lightly against hers.

Startled by the unexpected contact, Yeo Woong turned wide-eyed toward him—but Seol Ji Oh kept his calm expression fixed straight ahead.

What…? Did he just accidentally graze me?

Feeling awkward for overreacting alone, she turned her gaze forward again—only for Seol Ji Oh’s hand to brush against hers once more.

But this time, it felt less like an accident… and more like he’d deliberately touched her.
