Choi Dong Hoon, the PD sitting next to her, was someone she was working with for the second time. PD Choi raised a hand in greeting and welcomed Yeo Woon.
“Miss Yeo Woon, hello.”
“Yes, PD. Long time no see.”
“You cut your hair? You looked pretty with long hair, but you look even prettier with short hair.”
At Shin writer’s compliment, Yeo Woon blushed and responded with a laugh.
“I cut it because of a role I took in a musical. Oh, does my character in this production need long hair?”
“No, there’s no need for that.”
When Yeo Woon took her seat, they moved on to discussing the production in earnest. This production was a 16episode miniseries, with Han Seo Ah and Kim Sang Wook cast as the main actors.
Han Seo Ah was an actress who was currently the hottest in the scene, coming from an idol background, while Kim Sang Wook was a male actor whose tall and modellike appearance and charming smile were attractive.
In the drama, Kim Sang Wook was a vice president who was perfect in every way except for his blunt remarks, and Han Seo Ah was his secretary.
It was an office romance that unfolded as Kim Sang Wook, who was indifferent to women, began to see Han Seo Ah as a woman, and in that, Yeo Woon played the role of Han Seo Ah’s friend.
A character who listens to all of Han Seo Ah’s worries and concerns and provides counsel.
The acting was not difficult. As is often the case with roles of the protagonist’s friend, she just had to stir up a decent amount of fuss, occasionally hurl blunt truths, and fulfill her role as a supportive character.
However, it was a bit of a disappointing role as an actress.
There were limits to expressing emotions and psychology, and above all, the character was too flat, so there was nothing deep to contemplate. It was a role she could do well, but not one that attracted her.

Just as Yeo Woon was about to become a little bitter, she caught herself. How grateful she should be to even get a role like this, what a spoiled thought!
This contract was supposed to stabilize her life for at least six months. For a while, she was liberated from the parttime job she had to do because of her livelihood.
Yeo Woon tried to lift the corners of her mouth and adjusted to the tempo between PD Choi and writer Shin while preparing the contract.
After leaving the drama department, Yeo Woon headed straight to the convenience store where she was working parttime. The time was more urgent than she thought, so she had to hurry.
The convenience store where Yeo Woon worked was located in an area densely populated with studio apartments. It was busiest during the evening when people mostly dropped by after work.
As soon as she arrived, Yeo Woon had to cater to the customers pouring in without a moment to catch her breath. She was familiar with convenience store work, so it wasn’t too difficult, but her mind also became busy as people crowded both inside and outside the store.
“Sigh…”
The convenience store quieted down around the time when it was almost time for her to leave work.
There were just 10 minutes left until midnight. Yeo Woon fiddled with her phone as she waited to get off work. Then, her eyes landed on an article on the main page of a portal site.
It was an article related to the jeans advertisement that Seol Ji Oh had shot. Entranced by the provocative headline, Yeo Woon unintentionally clicked on it and her eyes widened at the fullscreen photo.
Seol Ji Oh, with his wet hair, was revealing his sculpted upper body and wearing only jeans, staring into the camera.

Wow…
Suddenly, the paper on the door rang. A customer had come in. Yeo Woon was startled and put her phone on the table.
Although she hadn’t done anything wrong, she felt strangely flushed. Yeo Woon licked her lips with her tongue and stood up from her seat to prepare for the checkout.
The tall male customer brought a bottle of water to the counter and said in a voice that seemed unsure.
“Ice Blast.”
A few seconds later, she realized it was a brand of cigarettes. Yeo Woon made an ‘Ah’ sound and turned around to pick out the customer’s desired cigarette from among the many available. Then, without thinking, she glanced at the male customer’s face and for a moment, her breath stopped.
“…!”
Even though he was wearing a hat, it was unmistakable. Such a face could not be common.
Yeo Woon looked at Seol Ji Oh with her mouth open. She couldn’t believe that the Seol Ji Oh she was looking at on her phone a while ago was now in front of her.
“Aren’t you going to check out?”
Seol Ji Oh spoke dryly towards Yeo Woon, who was just staring at him blankly. Only then did Yeo Woon come to her senses and hurriedly scanned the barcode of the item with the POS machine.
Her heart was beating wildly, to the point where it was amazing that her hand was still moving properly.
Yeo Woon’s mind was in a complete mess. On one hand, she thought she should apologize to Seol Ji Oh about that day, but she was also frustrated to have met him again in such a state.

My Arch-enemy Sealed My Memory and Said That He is My Husband
This is an incredibly captivating story that you absolutely shouldn’t miss! I’ll give a brief introduction here, and below you’ll find a detailed synopsis of the plot.
The female lead is a fierce and powerful demon king. The male lead is a once-in-a-millennium celestial lord, admired by the entire cultivation world.
They are equally matched, legendary rivals who have battled for centuries.
In the final duel, the female lead is gravely injured. The male lead saves her, seals her memories, and hides her true identity. He tells her that he is her fiancé. His entire life has been flawless—except for the one thing he never expected, never controlled, and never wanted to control: falling for his greatest enemy. She is his inner demon, his obsession.
When the female lead regains her memories, she is furious at his deception.
She makes his life a living hell.
And somehow, the male lead—possibly a total masochist—doesn’t mind at all. In fact, he’s happy she’s paying attention to him.
Yep, we’re back to my favorite trope: male lead suffering. If you love this kind of story, jump into the pit with me now!!!
Intro
Dong Xia lost her memory.
Her handsome and extremely powerful fiancé Li Qing comforted her: “It’s okay if you can’t remember. I’ll always be with you.”
Everyone thought Dong Xia’s ancestors must have burned incense to get such a perfect fiancé. He was the number one person in the immortal realm, yet he remained chaste and only loved her.
…
The day before marrying her fiancé, Dong Xia finally remembered everything.
She wasn’t suffering from memory loss at all.
Her arch-enemy had made her fake her death, destroyed her cultivation, replaced her memories, and pretended to be her deeply in love fiancé.
No wonder he said, “It’s okay if you can’t remember”!
Dong Xia laughed coldly as she pulled out her long knife: Li Qing, prepare to die 🙂
*
Li Qing, as the supreme being of the immortal realm, was the people’s shining beacon.
The only unknown stain in his life was his affection for Dong Xia, the ruler of the demon realm.
In the final battle of the war between immortals and demons, the sky collapsed and the earth shattered. The ruler of the demon realm was finally slain under the sword of the supreme being of the immortal realm, and everyone in the immortal realm applauded.
The cultivation world lost a ruler of the demon realm.
And in the back mountain of Li Qing’s cave dwelling, he secretly hid away a fiancée.
Notes:
1. The female lead is white on the outside, black on the inside, and the queen of flattery; the male lead repeatedly tests the edge of darkness, a VIP guest at the crematorium.
2. Fantasy cultivation world setting.
