The expression on Ian’s face, which had been tinged with irritation, shifted to one of tension, his gaze sharpening abruptly.

It couldn’t be helped; the moment Pavel brought up Lasiel, his pheromone aura subtly changed.

Ian couldn’t fathom why Pavel suddenly asked about Lasiel, but sensing an unusual atmosphere, he couldn’t simply brush it off.

“Why are you bringing up that girl?”

“I met her at the academy. She was so beautiful that she didn’t even think to apologize after bumping into me. Truly stunning.”

Pavel raised the corners of his mouth, grinning broadly.

To Ian, that smile felt inexplicably unsettling.

The tea party invitation sent by Pavel arrived at the ducal residence with remarkable speed.

However, since the matter had been entrusted to Raphelian by Lasiel, the invitation never reached her hands.

Raphelian, upon receiving the invitation, declined it with a very polite yet concise tone.
