Raphelian, utterly dumbfounded by Lasiel’s unimaginable appearance, forgot even to blink or breathe before swiftly spinning around.

“You just got here and you’re already leaving? So you don’t even want to see your older sister’s face anymore?”

“Where would such an exaggeration come from? It’s just that I shouldn’t come in…”

“You can come in.”

Michaela, who had been standing before Lasiel, grabbed Raphelian—who had just arrived only to immediately leave—and turned him toward Lasiel.

He rolled his eyes every which way, doing his utmost not to look at her.

Eventually, his gaze settled on the ceiling.

Michaela looked at Lasiel with immense satisfaction.

“You’re not even my fiancé—why are you acting like this? Ian’s been begging to see it.”
