In Hyuk gazed at the view outside the hotel window.

Beyond the gently flowing Seine River, the Eiffel Tower painted a beautiful night scene.

It had already been four days since he’d come to Europe on a business trip. In Hyuk had just arrived at a hotel in Paris to prepare for his final meeting tomorrow.

After finishing the meeting tomorrow, he was scheduled to take an afternoon flight back home.

While In Hyuk was looking out at the night view, his phone rang.

He picked up the phone he’d set aside and pressed the call button.

“Hello.”

[Good evening. This is Attorney Park. Are you available to talk?]

He was the lawyer from the firm handling In Hyuk’s divorce case.

“Go ahead.”

[The appellate court’s ruling was just issued, so I’m calling to inform you. The appellate court upheld the original judgment, again recognizing Ms. Park Chae Rin as the at-fault spouse. Aside from a slight increase in the asset division amount—due to the growth in your assets since the first ruling—the appellate judgment remains consistent with the initial one.]

In Hyuk listened on speakerphone while opening his email inbox.

After carefully skimming through the ruling, In Hyuk spoke.
