Yeon Joo and Jin Wook were sitting at a table beside the window.

Bathed in the warm spring sunlight filtering through the window, the two were having breakfast.

On the table sat the American-style breakfast they’d ordered via room service: a plate filled with a delicious-looking omelet, toast, and grilled vegetables, accompanied by a warm cup of Americano.

Since all their clothes from yesterday were soaked and had been sent to laundry service, both were wearing navy-blue hotel robes.

Yeon Joo, apparently famished, silently and diligently speared food from her plate with her fork. Watching her intently over his coffee, Jin Wook finally spoke.

“Should I order more?”

“No, there’s no need to order more… You’re not going to eat this, right? I’ll just have this.”

Yeon Joo picked up a piece of toast Jin Wook hadn’t touched and brought it to her mouth. Jin Wook smiled slightly as he watched her chew with her cheeks gently bulging.

“I didn’t know you were the type who eats this well.”

“That’s only because you last night…”

She hesitated, wondering whether to say outright that his refusal to let her go all night had left her starving. Jin Wook prompted her.

“What about me?”

“Are you really asking because you don’t know?”

Yeon Joo shot him a sideways glare—though even that looked adorable in Jin Wook’s eyes. Frowning slightly, she continued.

“Do you even realize how exhausted I was last night? You seem like someone who has no idea what ‘moderation’ means.”
