Knowing he had come out, her tension skyrocketed. Her eyes remained fixed on the view, but her senses were acutely focused behind her.
She heard his footsteps heading towards the dining area, followed by the sound of him picking something up, and then walking towards her.
Yeonju tightly gripped the sleeves of her white robe. Tonight was their first night together.
Due to packed work schedules, they couldn’t plan a honeymoon. Instead, they decided to spend their first night in a luxury hotel suite.
Her lips dried as she thought about what was about to happen. She wanted to appear natural, but her body wouldn’t cooperate.
Frozen stiff, Yeonju stood motionless, facing the window.
“I’m curious when you plan to finish admiring the night view.”
Startled by his voice, Yeonju finally turned to look at Jinwook.
He sat on the living room sofa, with wine and glasses before him.
Dressed only in a navy blue shower robe, his slightly damp hair covered his forehead, and his muscular chest was subtly visible through the parted robe.

Finding it difficult to meet his gaze, Yeonju averted her eyes.
Jinwook poured wine into a glass, asking, “Do you drink?”
“…Yes, a little.”
Handing her a glass filled with ruby-colored wine, Yeonju slowly approached the table and sat opposite him.
Jinwook watched her sit far away, then chuckled softly.
“Aren’t we sitting too far apart for a married couple?”
He gestured beside him.
“Come sit here.”
When Yeonju hesitated to rise, Jinwook stood up. Holding his wine glass, he moved beside Yeonju and sat right next to her.
As he sat beside her, a heavy yet sensual fragrance enveloped the space, causing Yeonju’s gaze to wander around the edges of the table, unable to look at him directly.
Seeing her like this, Jinwook presented the wine glass to her.

“Drink up. There’s nothing like alcohol to ease tension,” he suggested, noticing her evident nervousness.
Yeonju took the glass, lightly clinking it against his, and slowly brought it to her lips. The red wine moistened her lips, turning them a deep shade of red, which Jinwook observed attentively.
As she drank with her head bowed, her hair softly fell around her face. Jinwook noticed a strand of hair curling around her lips and reached out to remove it.
His touch on her lips made Yeonju startle and open her eyes wide.
Jinwook smirked wryly at her rigid expression.
“Anyone would think I’ve forcibly kidnapped you,” he commented.
Then, looking seriously at Yeonju, he said, “If you want to stop now, just say it.”
His strong voice followed, “You can’t spend every night with a man you dislike.”
At his words, Yeonju’s eyes quivered.
Biting her wine-stained lips, she finally spoke, “No, I don’t dislike it.”

Jinwook, noting her continued stiffness, asked, “Then why are you so tense?”
Yeonju responded, “It’s not that I dislike it… I’m just a bit nervous.”
“This is all new to me.”
Having never been in a deep relationship, the idea of being intimate with a man was completely foreign to Yeonju, especially with a man she had only met three times.
Even with a beloved partner, such a situation would be nerve-wracking. Now, with a man she hardly knew, it was understandably daunting.
Jinwook, observing her stiffness, gently suggested, “Then let’s wait.”
“Tell me when you’re ready.”
As he was about to stand from the sofa, Yeonju’s expression faltered. She recalled his words from the day they first met about the condition of their marriage: to plan for pregnancy and have a child immediately.
Realizing the gravity of their agreement, she reached out and held him back.
“No, it’s okay,” she asserted firmly.

“I told you, it’s just because it’s my first time.”
” I will get used to it soon.”
Despite the tremor still echoing in her heart, she continued, “So, it’s okay to do it now…”
She tightened her grip on his hand. Jinwook looked at her clenched hand and then at her face, reading the determination in her expression.
Yeonju’s face, freshly showered, was clear and luminous without a trace of makeup. Her warm brown eyes and full lips were strikingly prominent on her fair complexion. The slender curve of her neck and the depth of her collarbone also captivated the gaze.
Her flushed face, the glimpse of skin visible through the white robe, and the fragrance that had filled the room since earlier were alluring enough to tempt him.
In fact, from the moment he saw her in the pure white wedding dress at the ceremony, a deep desire had already been kindling in his heart.
“That’s good to hear,” Jinwook said, his hand gently moving to her cheek.
“Truthfully, it was hard to wait.”
His intense gaze revealed the longing he had been hiding. It was a fiery look, so ardent that it seemed to ignite a heavy warmth in the pit of his stomach.
He tilted his head closer, and his husky voice dropped from his approaching lips.

“I clearly gave you a chance.”
“……”
“Even if you cry or beg now, I won’t be able to stop.”
His fingers, softly caressing her cheek, slid down to grasp her chin.
“Open your mouth.”

Intro
Dong Xia lost her memory.
Her handsome and extremely powerful fiancé Li Qing comforted her: “It’s okay if you can’t remember. I’ll always be with you.”
Everyone thought Dong Xia’s ancestors must have burned incense to get such a perfect fiancé. He was the number one person in the immortal realm, yet he remained chaste and only loved her.
…
The day before marrying her fiancé, Dong Xia finally remembered everything.
She wasn’t suffering from memory loss at all.
Her arch-enemy had made her fake her death, destroyed her cultivation, replaced her memories, and pretended to be her deeply in love fiancé.
No wonder he said, “It’s okay if you can’t remember”!
Dong Xia laughed coldly as she pulled out her long knife: Li Qing, prepare to die 🙂
*
Li Qing, as the supreme being of the immortal realm, was the people’s shining beacon.
The only unknown stain in his life was his affection for Dong Xia, the ruler of the demon realm.
In the final battle of the war between immortals and demons, the sky collapsed and the earth shattered. The ruler of the demon realm was finally slain under the sword of the supreme being of the immortal realm, and everyone in the immortal realm applauded.
The cultivation world lost a ruler of the demon realm.
And in the back mountain of Li Qing’s cave dwelling, he secretly hid away a fiancée.
