[Full] The Villainess Just Wants to Live Quietly! (Completed Main Story) - Chapter 23
“Of all times, it had to start raining now?”
Worried, I glanced over at Noxia—and sure enough, rainwater had seeped into her wound, causing her visible pain.
Though she urgently needed first aid, I couldn’t bear the thought of leaving her here alone; by the time I returned, she might still be soaked and suffering in the rain.
So I quickly grabbed Noxia’s uninjured hand and hurried us both toward a nearby pillar, hoping to find at least brief shelter from the downpour.
Noxia looked startled by my sudden action, but she obediently followed where I led her without protest.
“Are you okay?”
At my question, Noxia forced a smile and gave a small nod.
“Yeah, it’s bearable.”
“Can’t you use your ability to block the rain?”
“I can’t stop the rain entirely, but I could form something like an umbrella to keep us both dry. Right now, though, I’m too exhausted—it’d be difficult. Don’t worry about the wound, though.”
She tried to reassure me, but seeing rainwater mix with blood as it trickled from her injury made it obvious how much pain she was in.
Helpless, I tore off the hem of my dress. Noxia’s eyes widened in surprise at my unexpected action.
“S-Sister?”
“For now, use this to keep the rain out of your wound. I’ll go get help right away and be back before you know it.”
Flustered, Noxia could only gape at me, speechless, her wide eyes fixed on me in astonishment.

“Shall I… feed you?” she asked tentatively.
He opened his mouth cheerfully: “Ah—”

After emerging from the water, his ear tips turned red. He lightly brushed his cheek, tucking his sideburns behind his ear, revealing delicate, pink-tinged ear tips. He lowered his gaze, too embarrassed to look at her.
