The Villainess Doesn't Want Love (20 Chapters Left to Complete) - Chapter 80
Jeremiah calmly and steadily gazed at the necklace before his eyes.
It was an emerald necklace purchased from Paulo Jewelers, matching Karina’s eye color.
Jeremiah thought of Karina, who had openly displayed her close relationship with Marquis Milainer during his audience with the Emperor.
Jeremiah’s brow furrowed.
“Huuuuh.”
A deep sigh escaped him.
‘As expected, it must be so.’
His heart grew conflicted.
Jeremiah recalled Marquis Milainer, who had boasted recklessly with his big mouth.
‘Having such a wonderful daughter as my wife—what immense fortune for the Colesburg ducal house!’
A bitter smile rose to Jeremiah’s lips as he remembered those words.
He had gone in prepared, as usual, to conceal his true feelings—but this time, he had nearly lost control on the spot.
He felt cold anger toward Marquis Milainer’s shamelessly brazen attitude.
The late Duke and Duchess Colesburg—
that is, the tragic carriage accident that took his parents’ lives.

When scheming men desperately battle for her favor in the male harem

This one’s also on my reread list! The rivalry, scheming between the men in the imperial harem are just as intense and thrilling as in classic palace drama novels, where concubines fight to the death. Give it a read, girls! I promise you won’t be disappointed.
Synopsis:
“I am not worthy of her… but I still want to be by her side, even if only as a loyal dog…”
Those were the painful whispers of Yue Guanyi – the proud Crown Prince of the Great Qi, who was torn between deep love and a guilty conscience. Despite holding the supreme power of the Imperial Guard, he still could not forget the dark past when he was sold into a brothel.
Fate played a cruel twist when Qiu Shuzhi – a young female official who had just passed the imperial examinations with top honors – stepped into his life. She did not know that she was the one who had saved him from a tragic fate many years ago. And now, her heart was the target of pursuit for both Yue Guanyi and the powerful Empress Dowager Qin Qing.
While Yue Guanyi only dared to silently care for and protect the one he loved from afar, the Empress Dowager Qin Qing openly expressed his feelings and did not hesitate to take advantage of his power to approach Qiu Shuzhi. The covert struggle between the two most powerful forces in the imperial court began…
Trigger warning: All men in this novel are yandere style.

His voice carried unmistakable displeasure.
Yes, I think she likes her lol.

“Show him to the reception room.”
Show him to a dungeon, not to a reception room — maybe the front gate. You see why I’ll be talking junk about you. You could’ve just lied and said she was not feeling well and she was laying down and to come back another time. But see, you never think of our girl. She was not feeling well, and she was laying down. Just tell her to come back another time. But see, you never think of our girl.

“And inform Karina of the Marquis’s visit as well.”
You see why I can’t stand you. You could have gone over there, talked to her, and said, “Hey, do you want to see your crusty, good-for-nothing father?” She would most likely have said no, but no, Jeremy, this is why I talk 💩.

Between the father and Jeremy Jenny, you’re about to be on the list. Y’all really are pissing me off this chapter.
this was an OK chapter. Jeremy still pissed me off. Did Daddy need to be pushed off a cliff and we will have a good ending.
I think she could’ve cussed him out more and shown more of her hurt. She was drunk because, at this point, baby, you’re still holding onto the hurt when you don’t need to. Curse this man out from the depths of your soul.
