Sicar crossed his arms and closed his eyes as if nothing had happened, but I didn’t find him annoying today.

Kian and I were busy admiring the stationery when our attention was quickly drawn to the landscape outside the carriage. The scenery, sprinkled with snow that had not yet melted, was beautiful like white sugar.

The clattering of horse hooves, mixed with this view, made us feel as if we were about to start a long journey, a time full of excitement where we couldn’t feel any boredom.

Kian was probably thrilled at the thought of meeting a new friend, and I was excited about the fact that Lucy and Kian would meet.

The longawaited time for the protagonists to meet came quickly. We were sitting in the parlor of the Earl’s mansion, waiting for Leidocks.

I was hoping that he would bring out the children and introduce them to Kian, but he greeted us alone.

“Welcome. Duke Blake, Duchess, and……”

As he looked at Kian, Leidocks greeted him with a solemn face as if saying ‘you are the Prince’s son.’

“Prince Blake. Welcome to the Earl of Yukandar’s mansion.”

Sicar exchanged handshakes with Leidocks for the sake of his memory and said.

“You are always transparent, inside and out.”

“I will take that as a compliment.”

His words meant that what Leidocks said and his character matched. It was clear that it was a compliment as Leidocks was so pure and honest.

I whispered to Kian, who was looking at the two men with a puzzled face.

“Kian. You should greet him.”

“Hello, Earl.”

“Nice to meet you. I’m looking forward to working with you.”

“I’m looking forward to it, too.”

When Kian actually greeted Leidocks, he didn’t hesitate at all. As Sicar always said, Kian had dignity and grace.

“Earl, where are the twins?”

As soon as I mentioned the twins, I saw Leidocks sigh and realized how much he was struggling with parenting again today.

“Well… they fought over the gifts you sent this morning, so they’re currently sitting on the thinking chair, reflecting on their actions.”

As expected, they fought again today. Even though I gave them gifts that suited their tastes, they fought over who would have what. Why do they have to fight over the gifts I sent?

Leidocks called for a servant as if he remembered something, and shortly after, the servant entered with a toy sword. Leidocks handed the toy sword to Kian and said.

“This is a gift as a sign of looking forward to working with you. Will you accept it?”

Even though it was a toy sword, Kian couldn’t take his eyes off it and smiled as he took it.

“I like it very much, Earl Yukandar.”

“Kian. From now on, you can call the Earl ‘Master’.”

Since that was how it was in the original work, using such a title might be a shortcut to becoming closer.

Leidocks smiled as if he wanted him to call him that, but Kian didn’t say anything.

“Now, let’s introduce you to the children. They’re your first friends, so I have high hopes.”

“The children are in the study, so it would be good for us to move there.”

“Of course.”

As we walked down the hallway holding Kian’s hand, Leidocks gave a brief introduction to the twins.

“Our twins don’t like it when their things are touched. As long as you respect that, there shouldn’t be any trouble getting along without fighting.”

Ironically, the twins were always touching each other’s stuff and fighting.

“Do you have anything you don’t like that you want to tell us in advance?”

Kian seemed unsure of what he didn’t like, made a serious face, and then spoke with certainty.

“I don’t like getting hurt.”

Kian spoke without any expression, but really, it was a remark that highlighted Kian’s character.

Upon hearing that, even Raydoks seemed to have received a fresh shock. He stopped his steps momentarily then started walking again. Raydoks asked Kian, looking as if he might have misheard something.

“Would you say that again?”

“It’s about getting hurt. I wish my friends wouldn’t get hurt.”

Looking at Raydoks’ surprised expression, his shoulders rose. Somehow, it seemed like Sicar’s shoulders rose a bit too?

Raydoks wore a pleased smile as if it was quite remarkable.

“What a wonderful thought.”

Very wonderful indeed. A thought that ordinary children could never have.

Of course, it was also a line that well demonstrated how eventful the short life Kian had lived so far was, but it also showed how clever the child was.

Raydoks’ satisfied smile distorted instantaneously as soon as he opened the door to the study room.

The study room was pure chaos.

‘Do these kids reflect on their actions while doodling on each other’s faces?’

I knew the twins were troublemakers… but it was beyond expectation.

‘Who would believe that these kids grow up to be a queen and a pathfinder?’

In the original work, the Pathfinder was a character who found new wastelands and expanded the continent, and Lloyd was the character who achieved this feat.

So, it means that the three protagonists who hold the future of this country are gathered here right now.

Raydoks held his forehead as if he had a headache and let out a long sigh.

“Lucy! Lloyd! Can’t you stop scribbling now?!”

The twins, who had been doodling on each other’s faces without realizing that we had arrived, were startled and looked at us.

I barely managed to hold back laughter the moment I saw the twins’ faces.

Upon discovering Raydoks’ angry face, Lucy and Lloyd stared blankly with crayons in their hands, as if suddenly frozen.

Sicar remained expressionless as always, but Kian looked confused, as if seeing this for the first time.

Seeing Kian’s expression, I was quite surprised as well.

The first encounter of the heroine and the hero was very impressive…?

Male lead is a Destined Young Husband (Female-dominant)

One-sentence summary: Wife-master, listen to my explanation!

Li Ruantang, a young lady from a prestigious family, stumbled and fell. When she woke up, she saw a noble and beautiful young man sitting by her bedside, wiping away tears.

The young master had slightly reddened eyes, and his every move exuded charm.

The sight made Li Ruantang’s eyes hot and her heart flutter. After all, she had made a bet with the young master Meng from the neighboring family. If she couldn’t marry a husband before the end of the year, she would have to admit defeat and give up the jade she had worked so hard to obtain.

Outside the window, the flowers were in full bloom.

Rather than losing the bet, the jade, and her face, Li Ruantang calculated that it would be better to seek marriage with the young master in front of her, killing three birds with one stone.

…

Meng Jun never thought that an accident during a spring outing would lead to them rolling down a cliff and into a river, yet still survive.

Now they were trapped in an unknown village, and Meng Jun had overheard that the family who had rescued them had their own intentions.

After all, it was Li Ruantang who had lost her mind and sought marriage first. He was only trying to protect himself!

Glancing at Li Ruantang, who was listing her own merits, the young husband’s voice softened, and he blushed as he lied, “W-wife-master, Wife-master, don’t you remember me?”

The young husband’s voice was clear and handsome, coaxing Li Ruantang’s heart to be soft and sweet, and she spared no effort to protect him.

It wasn’t until they returned to the capital that Li Ruantang suddenly remembered.

When they had fallen off the cliff, in order not to implicate Wei Yunruo, whom he secretly admired, the young husband had instead pulled her, who was slightly farther away, down the cliff with him…

Short summary by Yuushi L: Initially, the male lead (ML) liked another girl, while the female lead (FL) liked the ML. Both fell off a cliff. The FL temporarily lost her memory, and the ML, fearing others might take advantage of him, claimed FL was his wife while they were staying in a village. Later, when they returned home, the FL regained her memories and remembered that the ML liked someone else, so she kept her distance from him. However, during their time living together in the countryside, the ML’s view of the FL had completely changed. From this point, his pursuit of the FL begins.
