Apparently, since I’d always come to the Mage Tower accompanied by Rayan until now, he seemed curious about this new face.

‘Does he not recognize Yansi?’

I’d assumed he’d surely know, given how much he disliked Duke Ferdia—but surprisingly, he didn’t.

Then again, he hadn’t even recognized me as Elodie Ferdia the first time we met, so this wasn’t particularly strange.

Was Isis’s interest in the Ferdia name limited solely to Duke Ferdia himself?

“He’s my elder brother—Yansi Ferdia.”

“Elder brother? So that guy’s the firstborn son of Sylvester Ferdia? Ugh, disgusting.”

Despite standing right before him—the younger sibling of that very firstborn—Isis openly grimaced in revulsion.

Having heard him badmouth Duke Ferdia so often in front of me, I wasn’t fazed at all.
