“The vice chairman will present the award today. You can sit here and come forward when your name is called to receive the certificate. After that, you can have your photo taken here in the middle.”

Min Joon explained the award ceremony to be held that day in a simple and clear manner.

It sounded like a simple matter, but as she listened to his explanation, her heart was pounding as if it was about to jump out at any moment.

“You can wait here.”
“Yes. Thank you.”
After thanking Min Joon, Su Ah approached the chair he had pointed out, took a seat, and settled in.

A moment later. With the sound of chatter, the employees who were participating in the event began to enter the auditorium.

“Who’s the winner?”
“I guess it’s that person sitting over there.”
“Amazing. First place in the competition.”
“I heard that the vice chairman is personally presenting the award today?”
“Really? I’m more envious of that than winning the competition. It’s a chance to see the vice chairman’s face up close.”
The female employees sat in their seats, murmuring amongst themselves.

She was too far away to hear exactly, but Su Ah felt as if they were talking about her and couldn’t even lift her head out of embarrassment, instead she fiddled with her hands incessantly.

Not much time passed before the awards ceremony began.

The host gave a brief introduction about the award and guided through the order of events, and the event proceeded according to formal protocol.

Finally, the moment for the award came.

“Today’s award will be presented by our vice chairman. Vice chairman.”
At the sound of the host’s voice, the auditorium was filled with cheers from the female employees in an instant.

‘Who the heck is this vice chairman that they like so much? Is he some sort of celebrity?’
Su Ah wanted to lift her head to see what was going on, but it was not easy to move her body frozen in tension.

“Now, we’ll proceed with the award. The winner of the marketing idea contest, Su Ah, please come up to the stage.”

Only at the sound of the host calling her name did Su Ah lift her head and take hesitant steps onto the stage.

‘Su Ah.’
Just hearing her name was enough to make his heart flutter. Ha Joon, who had been muttering her name to himself, lifted his head towards the award recipient and soon confirmed Su Ah’s face.
