Dan Woo glanced up at the sound of the knock.

“Come in.”

He tucked a white-covered book into his desk drawer and pulled his phone forward.

Tae Yoon entered the office and fixed his gaze on his boss, whose lips were stupidly curled upward.

Lately, his boss’s vacant smile had become so frequent that Tae Yoon was convinced something had broken inside him.

He pushed forward the file regarding Woo Jeong Hyeon’s trial and pointed at his boss’s phone.

“Did you smear honey on your phone? What’s so great about it every time you look?”

“Want to see?”

Tae Yoon, suspicious, reached out his hand. On the screen was a photo of a library bookshelf.

“So what’s this supposed to be?”

“Just read the first letter of each book title in order.”

“‘Dan Woo, I love you’—you idiot! Take it back. Why’d you even show me something like this?”

Tae Yoon clamped his mouth shut before a curse could slip out and shoved the phone back.
